Ray Sowards

He has been practicing Elder Law for over 25 years. He received his BS Degree from CSU EastBay in 1973. He received his JD Degree from Lincoln Law School in 1985.

Mr. Sowards’ practice is devoted to Elder Law (Catastrophic Illness), Saving the family home and assets from the cost of Nursing Home Care, Estate Planning, Probate, Financial Planning, Real Estate, Insurance, and related matters.

Mr. Sowards began practicing law in 1989 upon early retirement from a large corporation. Mr. Sowards is frequently involved in “End-of-life” decisions regarding his clients.

While it is unusual for an attorney to make residential visits, Mr. Sowards visits his clients at home, hospitals, or Nursing homes, when necessary. The practice of Elder Law takes into account that many clients are not able to come to his office. Therefore, he is available to visit his clients when the need arises.

When not busy serving his clients, Ray enjoys his family of grown children and lovely grandchildren.
